Janet E. Dandridge

Born and raised amongst the colorful backdrops and even more colorful characters that comprise the historic Georgetown section of Washington, DC, a young Ms. Dandridge had no shortage of inspiration when it came to recognizing her life path.  After working for various production companies in New York City and DC, Janet moved in 2004 to her current home of Los Angeles to pursue film and TV production as a full-time career.  Even though positions within the world of film and TV are very coveted, Janet decided to embrace her passion for still photography

To date, her work has been exhibited in galleries throughout Los Angeles and used as key art for feature and independent films.  She has shot for notable musicians O.N.E., the Vinyl Junkie Clique, Malkovich, ABCDEFG, Fahrenheit, Sum Majere, Belief, and Director Little X.  She is also a photojournalist, having shot communities and events in Spain and North Africa as well as many points across the U.S.  Vibrant colors and a strong current of spirituality are the core of Janet’s photography, in which she aims – in her own words – “to promote the positive evolution of the mind and spirit.”  We welcome this wonderful artistic soul to Arts That Work!
