Assemblages of found objects and fiber that evoke childhood memories and special events; the compilation of textures, colors and shapes; the second time around for items easily tossed away –This is the “Greening of Fine Art” –This is my Art. My sculptures evolve individually like the meals I prepare, I like to call it vibration cooking. I ‘feel’ what goes together and start blending. I look at colors, textures and shapes and ‘feel’ what is the right combination. Using recycled and found objects lessens the trash that is thrown away in my household, neighborhood and community. The wrapping of each tube or cord or wire is very therapeutic for me; it puts me in a meditative state.
